Responsible for the design, leadership and management of projects, products and services related to climate change adaptation and water and territorial sustainability.

About Gloria

A forestry engineer, with a PhD in sustainable management of water resources from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (2014), which allowed her to train technically and work with enthusiastic, critical and positive thinking to understand different points of view and develop new ideas. She is a member of the FAO Water Footprint Technical Advisory Group and has more than 10 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing projects to address environmental and sustainability challenges, including climate change and extreme hydro-climatic events, water, food and energy security, and sustainable development.

Gloria has extensive experience in national and international projects (Europe, USA, Latin America and South East Asia) working with various sectors (agriculture, water, biodiversity, urban planning, energy and mining) and governmental, non-governmental and private organisations. Qualified project manager (APM Project Management Qualification) and author of more than 40 publications on a variety of issues, including sustainable land and water management, drought and flood management and sustainable development.
