Acerca de Gloria

Ingeniera de Montes, con un doctorado en gestión sostenible de recursos hídricos por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2014), el cual le permitió formarse técnicamente e trabajar un pensamiento entusiasta, crítico y positivo para comprender diversos puntos de vista y desarrollar ideas novedosas. Es miembro del Grupo Asesor Técnico de Huella Hídrica de la FAO y cuenta con más de 10 años de experiencia en el diseño, ejecución y gestión de proyectos para abordar desafíos ambientales y de sostenibilidad, incluidos cambio climáticos y eventos hidroclimáticos extremos, seguridad hídrica, alimentaria y energética, y desarrollo sostenible.

Gloria tiene una amplia experiencia en proyectos nacionales e internacionales (Europa, Estados Unidos, Latino América y Sudeste Asiático) trabajando con diversos sectores (agricultura, agua, biodiversidad, planificación urbana, energía y minería) y organizaciones gubernamentales, no gubernamentales y privadas. Gestora de proyectos cualificada (con la APM Project Management Qualification) y autora de más de 40 publicaciones en una variedad de temas, incluyendo la gestión sostenible del agua y la tierra, la gestión de sequías e inundaciones y el desarrollo sostenible.
