El proyecto LIFE Vía de la Plata es un proyecto piloto centrado en poner en marcha y demostrar la estrategia red de infraestructura verde en una ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad, uniendo además, dos elementos pioneros en ámbito urbano: Servicios de los Ecosistemas y Machine Learning”.
El proyecto persigue crear un corredor verde a través de los 6,9 km de su vía pecuaria: “Vía de la Plata” a su paso por Salamanca cruzando de norte a sur el término municipal dividiéndola en 6 zonas piloto según sus características urbanas y ambientales.
LIFE Vía de la Plata se integra dentro de Savia, la estrategia de infraestructura verde de la ciudad y está liderado por el Patronato Municipal de Vivienda y Urbanismo (PMVU) del Ayuntamiento de Salamanca y financiado por la Comisión Europea con una inversión que supera los 2,8 millones de euros, de los que Europa subvencionará más de 1,4 millones de euros.

Terminó en diciembre 2023
ICATALIST desarrolla el área de la adaptación al cambio climático y ha trabajado en una herramienta de priorización de medidas, un catálogo de medidas y la definición de una hoja de ruta para la adaptación. También trabajamos con el desarrollo y monitorización de los indicadores climáticos y de calidad de aire, y con la aplicación de machine learning para la gestión climática de la ciudad.

We also work with the development and monitoring of climate and air quality indicators, and with the application of machine learning for city climate management.
