ICATALIST provided technical assistance to the TACTIC research project. Specifically, it supported the Spanish Geological and Mining Institute (IGME) in the case study of the Upper Guadiana River Basin. The objective was to design adaptation strategies (a set of adaptation measures to be adopted by the government and local actors in the future) with the participation of the actors most involved in this issue (farmers, environmentalists, administration, etc.).

ICATALIST was in charge of the Co.creation of participatory climate change scenarios

  • Planning, organising and facilitating a one-day participatory workshop.
  • Producing a report on the results of the workshop. All tasks were done in collaboration with IGME project staff. Our action also included the organisation of a second results showcase session at the end of 2020.
  • 2-day training course for IGME staff on participation processes in research projects.
