El proyecto tiene como objetivo desarrollar tecnologías punteras para garantizar la sostenibilidad ambiental, social y económica de las inversiones y políticas territoriales a diferentes escalas. Estas herramientas tecnológicas combinan la inteligencia artificial, productos de teledetección de alta resolución, sensores ambientales de bajo coste y modelos de evaluación de impacto.
ICATALIST estudia el despliegue de la Agricultura Regenerativa como NBS para la adaptación a inundaciones y sequías en la cuenca del Duero. Además, trabaja de forma conjunta con los actores del territorio para identificar las ventajas y problemáticas asociadas a su implementación. Por otro lado, ReSET evalúa la calidad del aire de Rivas-Vaciamadrid, una de las ciudades más afectadas por esta problemática. Del mismo modo, trata de encontrar soluciones a este fenómeno involucrando a la ciudadanía y comunidad educativa. Finalmente, ICATALIST dirige el estudio de políticas implicadas y el proceso de aterrizaje en el mercado de las soluciones tecnológicas desarrolladas por los socios del proyecto.

The project aims to develop cutting-edge technologies to ensure the environmental, social and economic sustainability of territorial investments and policies at different scales. These technological tools combine artificial intelligence, high-resolution remote sensing products, low-cost environmental sensors and impact assessment models.
